The Laguna

[Nahiébell]

Seated westways of the maincity, the laguna is slightly hidden behind rocks that penetrate the surface of the surrounding waters. The water in the laguna is several meters deep but so clear, that it is easy to see the ground. Hidden, most persons don't know about it without stumbling on it as a surprise.

"Rhea!"
"I got ya, sis~"
Hoping so. That wa sthe last thought she had, before Nahiébell kicked out. She felt the strength of her body instantly enhancing, as Rhea let her powers flow into the vampiress body. The power behind the kick was enough to blow away the demons in front of her several hundred meters. The battle was incredible, fights unfolding all around her. She could see Haven, Fee and Trex heading off far away in the front, knowing exactly, that they might never come back. She gulped. She was afraid again. Just as afraid as she was back then. Then suddenly, without a warning, a hand laid down on her shoulder, making her spin around, ready to pick a punch and lay one down as well.
It was Gaia. A shiver ran down her spine, as she noticed the driders legs left and right to herself. "Calm down, will you, Nahi? They will be okay." Nahiébell gulped and nodded, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath. "Nahi, can you ask you sister to create a seal please?", another voice asked. Taliell's voice. She was here? "Looks like it, doesn't it?", the other voice inside her head asked. She grit his teeth and turned around. "Alright, Rinê!", she answered in the same inner dialoge and raised her hands...


Just before she was crushed by a gigantic mass of cold water. Alleandia...



"...s....sis...SIS!" The voice was dimmed, silent. Quiet. Where was she? "NAHIÉBELL!" Again, this strange voice calling out to her. She could hear it. But it sounded like far, far away. Strange. This ... air ... no ... that was water! Where, what? The vampiress opened her eyes slightly. It wasn't deep or anything, but somehow her body felt weak, heavy, unable to move. She got glimps of sunrays rushing through the surface of the water, she could see sand underneath her, she could see the saving air above her. But she could't reach it. She felt too weak, as the darkness of unconsciousness surrounded her. The last thing she managed to make out was a movement in the water, then she passed out.

[Pekku]

Sometimes, the world stands still, in those moment you think about a lot of things, you think about your family, you think about your loved ones, you think about what is going to happen to you. None of those thoughts were on Pekku’s mind, just escape, the monkey girl was running for her life from two guards that were posted outside of her cell, she had managed to break out of her holding area but was now being hunted like an animal...which she technically was. As her legs pumped her forwards she could hear the shouts of the people behind her slowly die down, then once she was far enough she quickly looked for a place to wash off her scent, her eyes locked onto the nearby ocean and she quickly ran towards it, jumping into the water and going under, she then waited, watched and waited.

While she waited she thought back to all her past mistakes, how she had been quite the troublemaker, she remembered her mother bapping her on the head because she had stolen a ring from the next door neighbor, later that day she was forced to give it back to her and then she was spanked viciously by her adoptive mother. She sighed mentally as the sound of the guard began to grow closer before it went distant again….if only her mothers spankings were the only things she had to worry about now.

Once she was certain that she was in the clear, Pekku lifted herself out of the water and shook out her fur, she was surprised the guards didn’t check the water, they seemed to have jsut glanced at the water before running off, she seemed to have gotten lucky. She sighed and turned to walk back in the direction she came from, back towards the small town where she knew she would be safe, all the crime that happened there would mask her like a cloak. As she walked she thought she could make out something in the water, it looked like a body...probably another poor sailor that was shot out of the water by the guards, they didn’t even need to do it...they did because it was fun.

The monkey girl made her way towards what she was assumed was a corpse before she crouched down and looked over the body with curiosity, then she realized it was breathing. On closer inspection she realized it was a girl, she quickly lifted up the girl and ran towards the town now, taking a secret route that she and her siblings had made from the beach to the town, there were actually many of these routes, she wondered why she didn’t take one of them….maybe fate had thrown this girl into her arms and by a twist of it she had decided to stay by the ocean.
